A messenger arrived at our office and paid for the house; said the deeds were to be made out in your name.
James:
What messenger - who sent him?
EA:
Ah, well, one of the conditions of sale was that we should not disclose the name of the donor.
James:
I don’t know anyone with money who’d buy me a place like this!
EA:
Actually, there is a Villa included.
James:
Where? The total bill must have been huge!
EA:
I’ll take you there in the morning.
And yes, I will admit it set the donor back a pretty penny; but he obviously could afford both residences..
He paid cash.
James:
Hold on - just what did this messenger look like?
EA:
Just a standard messenger bot; no outstanding characteristics; and before you ask, I am not allowed to divulge any other details of messenger, donor or the transaction.
The house is yours, sir.
I will call for you at 8 am, if that is convenient.
