"Remember that we all must die but some before others. Not everyone is capable of letting go." OCTOBER 5, 2019 Software Tools: Poser 11 Pro, Photoshop CC It seems I’m in a weird place mentally at the moment. I keep creating these darkly surreal artworks and I’m not sure why. At first I wrote it off as nothing since I was recreating artworks of ideas I came up with years ago during a different mindset. This artwork though, is brand new and not a redux. I feel rather fine at the moment but my muse is apparently a different story. Regardless, this is a cool conceptual artwork and I’m glad that I was in the mood to create it now. You should always listen to your muse! It might lead us in places we don't understand, but it seldom leads us astray. This is an excellent work (I can clearly see why this was selected as a "Staff Pick of the Week" – I'm honored to be in such great company, btw). There is something both macabre and sentimental about this illustration. Maybe it's just the dimensions and the open space at the top, but I could easily envision this as an album cover for some cool goth band. Great work, and again, congratulations.
