Description

...otherwise known as the Fly Agaric! Modelled these in Cinema4D, painted the textures in Photoshop and rendered in Bryce. I have gone to a lot of detail on these (4000x4000) textures, so that I can get in really close! :)

This is very, very good work. Quite accurate, right down to the look of the "ring" around the stem. The caps and gills are brilliantly modelled/textured. I know this isn't biology class, but - going for the perfect - you should make the stem base more bulky, as this is one of the characteristics of the Amanaitas.

Love it man! Great texturing. Isn't it weird that you still render in Bryce? Even though cinema 4d has a radiosity renderer. Hmmm, perhaps features aren't the most important things in a 3d app. Great work man! I envy your texturing as always.

I can see the pic you took to make these from, and my guess would be they are so close to the real thing as to make no difference. They look AWESOME!!!!!!!

I will join the chorus and say this is Great work (even if it isn't 100% Bryce). It is work like this that challanges me (and I am sure others) to rise to the level of yours!
