She & I met at the crosswalk in Downtown. She was on-foot and I could tell she was disoriented as she asked me where Central avenue was, as she said she wasn't from around there. She said her name is Ann and that she had just gotten released from the hospital where she woke up wondering how she got there. Obviously this lady has lost here way, the meds the doctors gave her at the hospital through IV had her mind in a whirl and I didn't want to see her get hurt in a trip-and-fall so I walked with her toward Central Ave where she & I stopped into a coffee shoppe there for a bit of conversation and some relief from the heat outside because no doubt Ann was dehydrated as well. We talked a bit and through all that mess I could see a great deal of potential for Ann. There is a better life for Ann and she could no doubt be inspired to pursue a better life when in the company of good people like us so would you please extend a warm welcome to Ann. Ann's gonna take her opportunity to get cleaned up and on stable feet, and there's no doubt about it, Ann has the potential to really shine and in the future even be an inspiration to others she meets so as to help them too. Right now Anne looks to us for that inspiration and new sense of self direction in life.
