Cool, we’re half way through the week! So, as you may or may not know, I love to paint scenes traditionally, but, I also create art digitally too... And I paint things to import into my digital work also. So, yesterday afternoon I booted up my digital art workstation, which I'd custom built, by the way, and rendered this colorful scene in Bryce 7 Pro. I named it “Sunset of Colorful Light”. As you can see the sky is a play between cool and warm colors, similar to the play of color temperature of the pastel artwork I hand drew, called Sunset Valley. I love a sunset in the winter, or a moody sky, being it's usually more interesting cloud formations and fantastic colors, especially in winter skies. This scene did take a while to put together, but, I think they are worth the time involved. If you are wondering is this photography, which I also love as a passion, and I love to do as well. No, nothing in this 3D render is from a photo. I use the sky lab in Bryce to create the sky and the water, land, rocks and ship are all models. I do some post work in PaintShop Pro X9 is all.
