I don't really go in for all the bats and zombies this time of year, preferring the tradition of Samhain over modern Halloween, but given that the headless horseman also has old folkloric roots in the Irish Dullahan and the English tale of Gawain and the Green Knight , here's a seasonal whimsy for you all...

just done v.simply with a wide angle spot back-light to cast the shadows, another for the fill-in and a point source for the red eyes. The simplicity of DS3/3dlight sometimes is a benefit!
