after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

I wish I could spend a night in this hotel (?)...it's so classy and they accept ducks when others dont like cats !

I bought Biscuit (our last cat) a small kennel (small dog size) for those days when she'd gone walkies and I was working. She used to sit in it and watch the rain, or sleep when the day was hot. Piper uses it now and again. Your landlord sounds like a real mean sod.

I have the impression that she is undressing for a bath that is located in ... a museum! Wow! My imagination is running wild, by looking at this unusual picture. Great imagination!

This is a very relaxing scene that you've created. I hope you have a great weekend. Too bad about Tig er.

A change for you---a classic European royal setting, which you use with real subtle humor. I love the rubber ducky in the old fashioned bath tub, the shoes by her dressing screen, the purse on the bureau handle, etc. And she, behind that screen, where we can see her feet and head. And behind her? A big whirling 16th or 17th C painting, which feels subtly fun against your modern model. You picked all kinds of great stuff for this. And the light is very bright. Love it.
I'm very sorry about Tig er. Cats survive amazingly well, all year round; but maybe you can build her a little home outside, or find a place where she can huddle into at night. That's an amazingly tough house mate (Brian) and I'm sorry he has to take out his feelings on an innocent animal. I hope Tig er does well against the cold. I wish T and you all the best, Steve.
