Description

A few weeks ago I posted a photo of a tree growing out of solid rock. I called it Childhood Memories. Today, I was going through a bunch of my dad's old slides that I have previously scanned, and I stumbled across these two photos. These were taken in or about 1957. The lady is my real (biological) mom, and the little bugger is..... Me! I seem to remember the tree being considerably smaller, but it seems to be pretty close to the same size as it is in my recent photo - possibly even a little taller. I guess it was just me that was smaller! LOL The fence was in better condition back then - it was looking rather neglected in my photo. Come on, Wyoming... You can surely afford a couple gallons of paint! Anyway, I thought you might like to see a moment from the past compared to the one I posted last month.
