Description
The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned. - Maya Angelou
rendered in Vue. No postwork. I used transparent layers to achieve this "grain" look.
Model, animal, waves, splash ... modeled in zbrush. pose in poser. rendered in vue9.

my stepdad was a painter, and his specialty was wildlife and water scenes - this reminds me of him quite a bit, esp. the waves and how your whole styling of this evokes the sense of paint rather than a 3D image... i miss him very much, his smile and warmth and his strong sense of play... :))
