Description

Yeah, this is about 200 years old, and I can't vouch for the style... (This is drawing, folks! This baby's ready for the Louvre...) Even more cheap: I may have posted it before, but don't remember. (How's that for competence...) The front guy's a Russian dancer, btw, and I did that dance years back, and nearly lost my private parts. Have a great night! And thanks for your wonderful visits, I appreciate them all! m ------------------

So much fun, expression, and movement in a few simple lines. This is the joy of just doodling and sketching. A delightful bit of fun, Mark! I had to giggle when I saw this!

I never had the moxie to try that dance myself.. I would have likely ended up in the emergency room... 😜🤣

I'm with Rod regarding the dance, but I do like the simplicity as it shows interesting emotions. Great work, Mark.

There's a story that Picasso was at a Paris market when a woman asked if he would draw something on a napkin for her. He did; he drew the dove of peace. Then he held out the drawing and asked for a million francs. The woman was shocked and said, 'how can you ask so much, you drew this in five minutes'. Picasso said, 'no, it took me forty years to be able to draw this in five minutes'. So, there you go.

I honestly love your doodles. Is this man dancing with his dog? Yes, of course he's dancing with his dog, everyone dances with this man's dog. The expression on the human's face is precious, I think he knows the dog is a better dancer... (more legs and less breakable parts, or so I hear.) Your doodle dancers are dandy. :)

Oh, it's a Russian, I thought about active elderly people in China. These retired people have this as a passion, and adopt the strangest attitudes in the open air. I'm scared, they all don't know if they still have private parts, haha, because these are retired too. Thank you dear Mark for the big smile here, and yes, I can do this dance, even as it should be, with my arms crossed. Just a tip for you, Mark, I would definitely protect this work by copyright, and also insure your private parts.

Ah yes, the good old Russian Squat Dance, more formally known as the gopak. Humans do it, so why not dogs? The paws that refreshes. You've captured it in all of its spirited entirety, HEY! As usual, you are most adept at creating your cartoon art in just a few well oriented lines, Mark.

The simplest sketches are often the most interesting.
