L'Antilope Nilgaut (Boselaphus tragocamelus) est une espèce de bovidés qui se rencontre en Inde. C'est la seule espèce du genre Boselaphus. C'est un bovidé à petite tête. Le pelage du mâle est gris ou gris-bleu ; celui de la femelle est roux. C'est un animal farouche qui vit en petit groupe (de 4 à 20 individus) ou en solitaire parfois comme chez un mâle adulte et qui se fie à ses sens aiguisés pour fuir les prédateurs comme le tigre. Le nilgaut est la plus grande antilope indienne. The Nilgaut Antelope (Boselaphus tragocamelus) is a species of cattle that occurs in India. It is the only species of the genus Boselaphus. It's a smallheaded bovine. The male's coat is grey or blue-grey; the female's is red. It is a fierce animal that lives in small groups (4 to 20 individuals) or alone sometimes as in an adult male and relies on its sharp senses to escape predators like the tiger. Nilgaut is the largest Indian antelope.
