Description

_______ From the same part of the countryside in this marshy and woody area known as the 'Mille-Étangs' (the One-Thousand Ponds area),at the feet of the Vosges mountains, the photo I am presenting here refers to the origin of the numerous pounds and lakes visible to the hiker visiting the area...It was actually eroded by the last glaciers of the Quaternary and when Man settled up there, the extraction of peat eventually led to the formation of the dozens of pounds and small lakes that give the area its special marshy characteristic nowadays.

very beautiful and tranquil, I like the way the dark water lifts out the leaves, it is more like a painting in its composition and thoughtful colours
