Continuing from "The Temple of Baal" (Jan 22, 2017):
I walked down the long hallway and after what seemed an eternity -- it could have been a few minutes or a few centuries, time seemed to lose meaning in this strange realm -- I arrived at the end. Taking a deep breath, I strode into the mysterious misty blue glow I noted earlier, and yet a new spectacle assaulted my senses, by now so saturated by such visual marvels I seriously began to fear for my sanity. I was in an immense chamber, its floor and ceiling densely lined with obviously artificial structures and held apart by pillars of a most curious design, each of them almost vaguely resembling the form of a female figure. Everything was colored a stunning blue or indigo which slowly faded to a dark violet as the architecture receded into an indeterminate distance. Like a terrible itch, countless questions kept nagging away in my mind as I surveyed this architectural prodigy: who or what built it all, and to what end? Where did they get all their energy and resources from for carving out these spaces and structures? And where have they gone?"
Another great fractal offering yet another vision of some alternative universe. Keep up the good work!
