it was 25 f when I seen it and it was barely moving. I took 2 pics and placed it a tree.

That's pretty much fatal to critters that don't have internal 'heaters' like we do. Hopefully your kindness paid off, and it was able to find shelter in the tree. Cool shot of it, Richard.
