They know that the more they know mathematics, the more complicated gadgets they can build successfully, and that excites them. I am one of them. They believe instinctively that the "2+2=" result is simple, logic, universal, constant ... under any circumstance. They do not accept that the result depends on who expresses it, nor on the social situation, nor on any form of ideology. This is the most universal language, accepted and understood by all cultures and under the whole human history. There is no judgment, nor opinion, while doing mathematics and logic.
