Description
Hello and happy Tuesday my friends! So, here it is, I've completed this painting that I named (Wildflowers at Sunrise). This was one of those compositions that started out easy, but then, I realized that I didn't know how to finish it, as I said on that Youtube video yesterday. So, I took a photo of what I had painted at the time into my digital art workstation and played around with it there, so I could try different ideas. I decided to to with this one and printed it out as a reference to paint, and here is the finished hand painted version. The computer is such a valuable tool in my studio, It allows me to work on ideas, before I paint. And that is really great! It gives me the opportunity to try different ideas, so I'm not painting ideas and realizing I don't like them and then I would have to wipe off the idea or paint over them. So, on the computer, I can effect those changes so much easier and then I know exactly what I want to paint, so much easier than a paint and erase method. Anyway, I will be posting this artwork for sale, that's right, I will be selling the original work... Not just a limited print. Thank you for looking and watching the associated video! I hope you have a lovely day ahead!! Your artist buddy, Dan Seitzinger – www.danseitzinger.com

There are placid colorful flowers in the foreground and ominous looking storm clouds in the background. Also I can't quite tell if the sun is rising or setting, and I find myself changing my mind about which it is every few seconds.I find my emotional reaction to it changes as I look at different parts, and it is an interesting and stimulating experience. Rarely does landscape painting awaken such complex emotions in me.

Hey tuerda, thanks so much for the detailed comment you've left here... I read your post to my mother, who use to paint when I was a young boy and we both enjoyed what you said. So, this one I did have a reference, instead of just painting without guidance. This one is getting a decent amount of reaction from my Facebook friends and other places I post my art. Thank you again for your complement and comments, I do appreciate your time of writing how you feel and thoughts of what you see. I hope you have a great coming holiday season ahead. Take care!! :-) Danny
