Description

Bedroom of César de Vendôme The fireplace is Renaissance, but it was gilded and painted in the nineteenth century. The canopy bed is also Renaissance, and the tapestries of the seventeenth century represent the goddess Ceres and the cycle of the seasons. Chambre de César de Vendôme César de Vendôme est un fils du roi Henri IV. La cheminée est d'époque Renaissance, mais elle fut dorée et peinte au XIXème siècle. Le lit à baldaquin est également d'époque Renaissance, et les tapisseries, du XVII ème siècle représentent la déesse Cérès et le cycle des saisons.
