Description
Thought it was time to do some portrait style images entitled Heavenly Bodies. So my first go at it is with the Egyptian god Khonsu. Khonsu's name reflects the fact that the Moon travels across the night sky, for it means "traveler. He also had the title "Defender", as he was thought to watch over those who travel at night. As the god of light in the night, Khonsu certainly is one of my Heavenly Body choices.
