Jedi Viridis Canis & Attilius Some animals’ wolves especially have always had a strong connection with The Force This is a re-render of something I did the other day but deleted as I really didn’t like the way it worked out. I’d used a displacement map for the wolf rather LAMH and it just didn’t look right. I do find LAMH(I have free version full version maybe more user friendly) awkward and its slow. Yet I used it in the last render and it looked real good I felt. As the wolf was in the background and there was only a single HDR light source it didn’t slow things up or. Here closer up it took longer than I like a render to be and also the light from the saber caused render noise(I find surfaces emitting light often do) on the hair. I tried turning up the setting to no help then I thought of adding the snow to mask and disguise the noise and I feel it works fairly well. It’s not right but closer a lot to the render it should be than the last one was.
