I went for a walk outside, with my camera for taking pictures at some of the 5 construction sites near my home. I saw some workers doing emergency road repairs; because of multiple cycles of water freezing then ice melting conditions, the roads near these constructions sites need regular repairs, especially when heavy trucks are constantly using them. Construction continues during winter; it is a job for tough, manly, proud and fatherly men. Even under such a seemingly simple situation, if somebody has been distracted, serious accident can happen at the least expected moment. Imagine the constant dangers that the workers have to face within a large and busy construction site, like the one on the right side of the picture, especially during winter. Passing by, I had a chance to shoot this photo; at that time the temperature was about 2 C at noonish time. I am not sure about the artistic aspect of this picture, but I think that it teaches how in reality, things are so messy.
