Description

I have seen before, but never do not recall how they are used. installing equipment for years I came across and used many fasteners . I delivered and installed 43 350 pound money controllers. out of the 43 only one manager offered to hold the door open. after 2-3 months I went back and removed 35 of them plus all of the fixtures and most of the groceries until I got some help. I was occupied all day and never got a chance to visit the galleries or do any work in poser

Big sucker.... That's what I'd call it!

It reminds me of back in the early 70s. I had just gotten out of the Air Force, and was working in a warehouse for GSA. We had a new recruit in training, and we were inventorying stock along with our warehouse manager, Russel. Russ was all business, but he had the driest sense of humor I've ever seen.

We went down an isle that had some heavy-duty tools for construction, and one of the bins contained some gigantic wrenches. The new guy said "Wow! What do they use THOSE for?" Without missing a beat, and with a completely straight face, Russ said, "Oh, those are for tightening the nuts on an elephant." With the look on that kid's face, I just about wet my pants... I'm laughing now just thinking about it..

Used for cheapness in the war years but mainly for prefabricated structures. This one is galvanised so looks like it was used in prefabrication or to fasten channelling at speed. Thread types were Unified Fine, Unified Coarse and Whitworth.
