Relaly striking image. the treatment and the "heroic" pose are a great combination;
tweaking the eagle's (looks like a bateleur?) pose might be worth considering, as it appears a little like its stooping with talons outstretched, rather than alighting. Also, its usual for falconers to present the outside of the arm as a perch...otherwise you might just get some major blood vessels shredded in error! ;)
