It was the night before the grand opening of our new store when I was just at the front door and I heard a truck coming down the road, it was unusual because of our small town, as it got closer I saw it was a car transporter and I jumped out into the middle of the road to stop it, thankfully it stopped and I asked the driver what he had inside the trailer, when he told me it was a couple of Nascars going to get dyno tuned I asked if I could have a look, the driver opened up the back doors and my jaw hit the road, oh my god are you kidding me, both cars were beautiful. This could have been a gift from god, I had the Max interceptor already for the opening but another car I had lined up had just phoned and had to cancel his appearance, I told the driver my story and he said hold on one minute I will make a quick phone call, to my delight he rang the owner of the cars and told me after the cars are dyno tuned he could come back this way and display the cars at my store after lunch time, this was perfect because the Max interceptor was being picked up by its owner about that same time, I thanked the driver and said see you again tomorrow, before he left he said he could pull the back car out and I could take a few photos with it if I liked. That was nice of him and while he got the car out I ran inside the store and changed into my sexy flag outfit, I did not have shoes but that is okay, I took a few quick photos and then drooled as he started the car again and put it back in the trailer, just as he was driving off Maggie and Andrea arrived with loaded cars and trailers to help set up the store, I did not tell them what had just happened and I did not tell them that I had found a replacement for the car that had cancelled. we did not have a name for the new store but after this nights events "Midnight Spares" seemed fitting.
