Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

I'm with you here, I still miss my Pittie. He was a good dog and a welcome bed hog.

Barbara, thank you so much for sharing this image and your memories of her.

She was such a beautiful puppy...it's a bittersweet journey when traveling down memory lane to visit our dear departed furry children...I know how their passing leaves holes in our hearts that can never truly be filled...

I'm always surprised to find out how deep a relation to a dear Dog or Cat (or other Pet) can go. Unfortunately we often just realize this in full depth, when they're gone. I've lost so many of them and I think my heart looks more like an "Emmentaler" (Swiss cheese) with all those holes they left, than like something else. And though it hurts to let them go and being forced to only being able to cling to photographs and fading memories, I can't stop loving them and let a new furbaby dig it's roots into my heart... I still miss every single of them!
Beautiful Picture, Barbara, she's such a beauty
