Lac Massawippi Le lac Massawippi est un plan d'eau dont l'embouchure est situé dans la municipalité de Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley, dans la municipalité régionale de comté (MRC) de Memphrémagog, dans la région administrative de l'Estrie, au Québec, au Canada. La rivière Massawippi (longueur : 20 km) qui se déverse dans la rivière Saint-François à Lennoxville constitue l'émissaire du Lac Massawippi. Le lac Massawippi recueille, à son extrémité sud, les eaux de la rivière Tomifobia. La configuration du lac prend la forme d'un hippocampe. Sa superficie est de 15 km² et sa profondeur maximale est de 75 m. Son embouchure est située au nord-est du lac. _________________________________________________________________ Massawippi Lake Lake Massawippi is a body of water whose mouth is located in the municipality of Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley, in the Regional County Municipality (MRC) of Memphrémagog, in the Estrie administrative region, in Quebec , in Canada. The Massawippi River (length: 20 km) that empties into the St. Francis River at Lennoxville is the Lake Massawippi outfall. Lake Massawippi collects, at its southern end, the waters of the Tomifobia River. The configuration of the lake takes the form of a hippocampus. Its area is 15 km² and its maximum depth is 75 m. Its mouth is located northeast of the lake.
