Description

Royal Council in the kingdome of Korr. (please zoom for details) From left (front): Lord Woodbridge, leader of the council, an old friend of the late king. Lord Woodbridge always indecisive and worried by everythingthing. Then the secretary of the Council, Alarik, a powerful manipulating advicer. No one really knows his past but he is cleverly close his eyes for the increasing corruption by the richest while he extend his grip on the actual power. His dark guard is feared by the common people. Lord Gaswuir, a newly rich merchant with many ships in the sea. Rumors say he got his fortune by piracy in the deep south. A silent mysterious person without known friends. Next, Lord Udor, from one of the fine old noble families, but after bankrupcy totally dependend by the rich widow he married. A typical oppotunist friend with all and nobody. Next, the probably richest man in Korr, Lord Treborn with very a big armada of merchant ships. Very independent, possessing his own army doing as he please. Only in the Council to prevent any changes in power relations. Despises the other council members except Lord Gaswuir, which he sees as his rival and foe at sea. Last council member is Lord Ailedor, a somewhat absent minded nice gentleman always talking about the long gone past. Mainly chosen into the council as being "harmless" to anything. To the far right of Lord Ailedor is Morond, secretary Alarick's "effective" right hand. Rather unknown by most but do not wish to meet him. Far back: The two royal guards still guards the royal empty throne. For fully three years now, no heir or new king is seated. No one can agree about to select a new sovereign. The nobles and rich merchants fear to loose their power while the common peoples suffer in this interregnum. But now is the missing crownprince's daughter Iphis Bliss on her way to claim the throne to the kindreds of Borrim, named after the first king of Korr. With few very skilled and powerful friends her task is to remove the inner enemies before confronting the enemies outside the Kingdome of Korr. From my Sevaril fantasy story - First Volume: Born of hope. Thanks for viewing Rhanagaz aka JohnnyC.
