Description
Hylonome is a Centaur woman in Greek mythology. She is said to have been very beautiful and was the wife of Kyllaros. Both were children of Ixion and Nephele.
A representation of the Hylonome can be found on a Roman mosaic. The mosaic dates from the 2nd century AD and is now kept in the Bardo National Museum in Tunis.
