Description
A 'three current' electric locomotive. She used to pull a 'Trans Europ Express' (TEE) train. Why three current, well she did Amsterdam-Brussels-Paris.
The current in the Netherlands was 1500 V, 3000 V in Belgium and 25000 V in France. She could run on those power settings.
Une locomotive électrique 'trois courants'. Elle fût utilisée pour le train 'Trans Europ Express' (TEE). Trois courants parce que'n France on utilise 25000 V, en Belgique 3000 V et au Pays-bas 1500 V. C'est plus pratique de tournée un levier que de changer de motrice.
