This bugger was a great test for my patience...
Bryce booleans and a couple of metaballs!

Stirring model and superb rendering, Rudy. Just can't imagine work and patience behind it with booleans... but it worths all the time spent so far. Love lights and foreground blur effects. EXCELLENT.

i'm glad to see you've given up on fantasy and have returned firmly to the earth. .................... (or is it venus?) i think i stepped on one of these the other day on the sidewalk, now i'm sad about it. i cannot think of a better use of bryce - to show it can do more than many people assume! superb. also another excellent candidate for a sound effect -what would it sound like?

what else to say? Just superb! Can't tell where the metaballs are at. Agree on DOF; it appears to be a small creature standing on sand.
