I was away several weeks (after a fall), but I see everything here, and it's always a treat when I can finally come back and comment on your work. This pic has so much in it, yet you capture a kind of peaceful overview...it's quiet and peaceful, and I love how the houses swirl and dot the landscape, and the way the atmosphere softens the background. (And you let it be---ie, you didn't mess with it to make it clearer than it actually is. That's something a film photographer understands implicitly.) The tall trees in the foreground are wonderful accents, and you composed this in 3 strata...it's beautiful, Richard. A real Richard photo.
