I don't know how to take this one. A fine image but very sad feel. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Sad and heartbreaking but hopefully hopeful, too. Good work with props and mood.

This is a copy-paste, please excuse me, my husband and I had a great idea: have gastroenteritis for Christmas, happy holidays to all of you
Ceci est un copier-coller, veuillez m’excuser, mon mari et moi avons eu une excellente idée : avoir une gastro-entérite pour Noël, bonnes fêtes à vous tous

I was instantly sad, even before I saw the complete image. It is beautifully done, but a stark reminder that we have a long way to go for "Peace on Earth". What I hope is we will indeed see her next year under much more hopeful circumstances. Thank you.

Ute, I'm skipping images only so I can comment on some of your most recent images. (I'm almost at an hour, and I don't want to ignore your recent uploads...)
I saw this when you posted it (I see everything you post, on the day you post them), and it's very touching. This is a room out of a Dickens novel...old London, with the poverty and soot and despair. The woman looks tired and sad. But you do have some beauty in it. You did this very thoughtfully. You even have a glamour poster---the irony and contrast of people in poverty, with the glamour of the "jet set" and other high-end culture, in the background. You have a picture of an old relative; and, outside, there appears to be war---your sky imagery is very dramatic and powerful. A powerful reminder, and powerful image. Very well done. Everyone should remember the needy all year round, and at holidays too. I'm very glad you posted this.
