Kamouraska Kamouraska est une municipalité québécoise, au Canada, d'environ 700 habitants située dans l'Est du Québec dans la municipalité régionale de comté de Kamouraska au Bas-Saint-Laurent sur la rive sud du fleuve Saint-Laurent. L'endroit est reconnu comme étant l'un des principaux lieux de villégiature au Canada dès le début du xixe siècle pour la splendeur de ses paysages et la bonne réputation des eaux salées de l'estuaire du fleuve Saint-Laurent. En effet, l'arpenteur Joseph Bouchette déclare que la région est « célèbre dans la province pour son climat sain » en 1813 et le journaliste Arthur Buies déclare que d'« aller à l'eau salée veut dire aller à Kamouraska ». En 2009, la beauté de son site ainsi que la qualité de son patrimoine bâti lui ont permis de devenir un des premiers villages à faire partie de l'Association des plus beaux villages du Québec. _______________________________________________ Kamouraska Kamouraska is a Quebec municipality in Canada of approximately 700 inhabitants located in eastern Quebec in the regional county municipality of Kamouraska in Bas-Saint-Laurent on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. The place was recognized as one of the main resorts in Canada from the beginning of the 19th century for the splendor of its landscapes and the good reputation of the salt waters of the St. Lawrence estuary. Indeed, the surveyor Joseph Bouchette declared that the region was "famous in the province for its healthy climate" in 1813 and the journalist Arthur Buies declared that "to go to salt water means to go to Kamouraska". In 2009, the beauty of its site as well as the quality of its built heritage allowed it to become one of the first villages to be part of the Association of the most beautiful villages of Quebec.
