Description
Telka knows she shouldn’t have left Squee alone with the Christmas presents… again!
==NOTES==
Ever have one of those scenes you just can’t get to render the way you want, no matter what you try? This was one for me. I set up Telka and Squee several weeks ago, on a moonlit path near some trees, but I just couldn’t get the lighting right, esp. for Squee’s materials (which I tweaked endlessly). So I gave up for a while, then tried again, and decided the scene needed a different background. I went through nearly a dozen other options before I settled on the cave.
I hadn’t intended this to be a Christmas scene, but given that the holiday is only a few days away, I figured I’d add some decorations to the scene. Then I came up with the idea of making some “messy” wrapping paper for Squee. If I’d planned to do a “messy wrapping paper” scene from the start, I would’ve set up everything differently — so maybe next year!
Rendered in December 2019 in Poser Pro 11 Firefly at 3000 x 2000 pixels.

She’s lovely and the dragonet is adorable - especially with wrapping paper in his mouth. A great scene!

I think we've all had illustrations like this: they just won't go where you intend so they wind up doing what they want... and come out the better for it. Merry Christmas!
