Description
I watched the new interpretation of this story--A Christmas Carol (2019)--which received mixed reviews, but I really did enjoy. Since I am taking a holiday break from my 3D work, I decided to create a collage from my past interpretations of the various Christmas "spirits" of this story. I hope you enjoy it. It is best viewed in full size.

This is a wonderful and beautifully done interpretation of the story, Barb! You really nailed the look of the spirits here as well as the Victorian era it's set in. Much applause!

being new to your gallery, I don't know the works these come from, but, w/ Rod, you got the spirit of Dickens beautifully, along with the 19th C settings and feel (and light). The apparitions are beautifully faded and lit, the grave scene is actually beautiful despite its apocalyptic feel (as if to say, "see all the beauty you've denied?"---I love the light on the snow and trees), love the light in the ghost of Christmas present, and the overall reddish tones everywhere...your scenes are warm and very 'interior'. I really like what you do with poser and 3D. You explore real inner realms, and the child in all of us. (I know, that sounds trite, but I mean it. The folk tales in all of us, where a lot of truth resides...) A belated wonderful christmas to you and your loved ones, and solstice, chanukah and all other festivals of light...and a glowing 2020.
