found this in the parking lot of a mall today. I took it to a trash can to avoid a serious injury to someone. I picked a broken glass that someone walked out of a restaurant before with liquor
the employees of a particular store have friends or relatives bring them food,beer, hard liquor, and wine. they sit in the parking lot in the evening and throw it in the lot afterwards

Sadly this kind of selfish stupidity seems to be of epidemic proportions the last several generations... Just listen to the garbage they blare at 9000 decibels, and have the audacity to call 'music.' That piece of glass could easily injure someone, and would definitely flatten a tire. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to happen to the morons that do this kind of stuff...

It is lack of respect for themselves and everyone around them and they don't learn any of that from their home environments! As you all say, it is epidemic. And I still am of the belief we humans will pay a very serious price for our careless stupidity as we already are by the way Mother nature is taking things into her own hands and leveling the playing field! I can only say, it is about time!

In Chicago (and other big cities) you see this everywhere. Luckily animals are always looking and sniffing---they know not to step on these things. People---esp with cellphones---don't even look. So something like this can be a real hazard. Well it was good of you to pick it up...As a photo, it's just fascinating! I love the texture of whatever the glass is sitting on. And the light. And the hue of the glass itself. It's a fascinating and compelling shot. Too bad it's so dangerous.
