The small British garrison didn't stand a chance once the attack begun. When the pirate's ship opened fire from the bay at first morning light Gianni's raiding party had already sneaked into the city. Like a wolfpack the pirates had slaughtered every single soldier inside the walls. Gianni didn't count the enemies he had put down himself. While his shipmates plundered the city he had entered the dungeon to liberate the prisoners. None of the guards could stop him who fought like a berserk. Then, he had found Leo in one of the dark and cold cells. Relieved, they embraced each other in the cell corridor, finally reunited.
