Description

Sensing danger in the distance, mamma Koala and her little baby try to get up this tree as quickly as possible..Baby got off her mom's back and went up before her to sit on a limb. Little do these two know that there's no escaping what's coming towards them... The horrific fires in Australia have caught mostly everyone's attention...and their summer has only just begun! So many homes destroyed and human life lost. Of course many animals have lost their lives as well in these monstrous conflagrations. It is estimated that 30% of the Koala population has been lost in these fires...It is all so heart breaking. Please keep this and all the other recent weather-related catastrophes in mind when you vote...all those nay saying politicians who are in the pocket of the fossil fuel industry must be removed from office. Really. Thanks for taking the time to view my image...

I have heard of Kangaroos finding themselves stranded! I think someone has missed the point because generally, people don't think enough precautions were taken to quell these fires. So very sad!

The Australian fires are so bad that almost all the koalas' food trees have been destroyed, so koalas are now in danger of going extinct in the wild. Here in New South Wales, we've lost over fifteen thousand square miles to fires, at least eighteen people dead, and whole towns burned down - in one town the streets got so hot that the engine blocks of cars melted and formed rivulets of molten metal (look it up, it's true). Temperatures are often over 110 degrees F and have topped 120F in some places. And the entire country is expected to run out of water before the end of this year. A few prayers might help.

An adorable image of these peaceful animals. But the subject of these destructive fires is obviously dramatic, all because of unprecedented heat and drought .... will we manage to reverse things to save a habitable climate on Earth? Thanks to evoke this drama here, Barb!

Only a complete idiot doesn't believe in climate change, I hope that someday these ignorants will be presented with the bill. It's a big disaster what's happening in Australia right now. Wonderful image, very beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's truly a heartbreaking situation, and seeing things like THIS, really pulls on one's heart strings...

But, there's no climate change or anything to worry about according to some..... πŸ€”

A lovely and powerful image, Barb.

Heartbreaking and frustrating that so much can be done to help this world and so few in power care. I'm angry. Thanks for reminding us that it's the little ones who suffer the most.

My country is burning, my people are dying, thousands of my country men and women are without a place to live. The animals I hold dear to my heart are gone or going. Their futures look bleak, as extinction looks like their only outcome. This country will come back, it's in it's nature, but unfortunately the wild life is on the brink. Politicians are useless as they rape and pillage our once great land for their own means. My heart is broken !!

It's the sad truth, that humans are soo selfish and dumb, not to see what they do.

Some one once said:" It is very tempting to sacrifice the future, so as to be able to enjoy the presence without being disturbed..."

This is sadly so! Our generations sacrifice the coming generations life and future, just because they can have more money or power this way and it's more convenient not to restrict one self to fix what we broke.

Very beautiful Render!

The fires are a crime against nature, that people would deliberately set them is heartbreaking.
