I guess in a lot of ways I'm still haunted by the fact that I lost eight years of my life, married to someone who wore a really good mask. Mostly what I'm haunted by is the daughter I never got to have because my ex was too selfish to have children. Once the ring was on, her attitude changed. It became less about *us* and more about *her*. That daughter will never happen now. That thought haunts me...
