Description

Château de Valençay Buste de Talleyrand par Louis Desprez (1838). L'original en marbre a été commandé par Louis-Philippe pour Versailles. Le Prince est représenté dans son costume de grand Chambellan. Bust of Talleyrand by Louis Despres (1838). The marble original was commissionned by King Louis-Philippe pour Versailles. The Prince is shown in his Grand Chamberlain's robes.

Il me semble en effet que c'était un politicien qui a montré le chemin à certain de nos contemporains, pas forcément un bon exemple. La sculpture en elle même est très belle!
