I believe this is canvas texture applied to a digital painting, correct? It looks more like a real canvas than most I have seen before.
As to the painting itself, I like the subtle angle, just barely off of straight frontal. There are a lot of details that are hard to get right, like the foreshortening on the eyelashes of one eye but not the other. It is precisely that kind of detail that really sells the idea that this is a real three dimensional person rather than just a painting. This is great, but I would maybe warn you that it is just realistic enough to begin to dip into the uncanny valley for me -- others might disagree. This is why most artists either stop sooner or go full photo-real, particularly when drawing portraits.
