Description
I'm tellin' ya, folks, NOTHIN' scares this young lady. In the subdued lighting of her bedroom we were thinkin' Parker was gonna introduce us to maybe a hamster or a ferret but THIS, folks, is a Goliath Bird Eater tarantula, a Theraphosa Blondi.
'This one is my baby.' Parker tells us. 'This Blondi is a young adult, she's two years old and right now she is about two thirds the size this species tends to grow.'
I've owned tarantulas myself in years past but not this particular, arboreal species. We asked Parker why she chose Theraphosa blondi as her first T.
'I chose a Blondi because I know they grow big and like me for the most part, they are ferrocious and fearless.'
I suppose if ya got a spider the size of a bus runnin' around in your house, fear not, just call Parker.
