A very interesting fractal, clever made with that girl in it for our friend Mike.

(I tried to comment here 3 times this morning, and my comments disappeared. I hope it works this time! Sometimes this site seems to be taken over by martians...)
I love this scene. The woman seems to be made of the same fractal lines as the background is. She poses for you---and mike---in a graceful pose, and we get the feeling she'll be on her way soon after. That series of caves is like a gigantic growth---I love all its facets, and how it settles on the ground with 'feet, like the toes on an elephant. It's totally organic...And you've got layers of facades going back into space, there's a lotta depth here. I have no clue how you do these, but you always get such complex worlds with your fractals, and often in such a compact space. And the openings in the caves---we see they sky back there---are beautiful. With a rust-gold sky and some strange bulbous creature in one of the left-side crevices. (That thing's about to give birth!) Perfect for Mike's imagination---this could be a scene from one of his pieces. And, as in so many of your pieces, the hues are so finely matched. Beautiful work, Barb. You're so natural at this. And Happy Birthday again, Mike! And I hope it's a wonderful and uplifting 2020.
Thank you so much for your response to another of my crazy pieces, Barb. I so appreciate it, and I'm so glad you 'get' what I write. There are only a few who do (mike, rod, you, and a handful of others, both here and off the site). I really appreciate it Barb, and I want you to know that.
