Description
"There's not a soul on this planet but us?"
"Nobody but us chickens, doctor."
– Elizabeth Dehner and James T. Kirk, 2265 - Star Trek: "Where No Man Has Gone Before".
I decided to re-create this image by Albert Whitlock one more time... This version is more in keeping with his original matte painting's color scheme...

Cool sci fi, the light is spot on. I wonder if this place has any security droids roaming about...

Instantly recognizable! I remember being impressed by your previous versions years ago, and am delighted to see this update. I'm now tempted to go watch the episode again on BluRay, to see the original one more time; although, like you, it is indelibly stamped in my memory from my childhood TV-watching (in black-and-white).
The other good thing is, this prompted me to check out the rest of your gallery while I was hunting for your earlier interpretations - terrific stuff!

That's just some incredible work!
I admire your persistence in creating this; that was a lot of work.
Now I need to set it up as a background, and greenscreen a couple of people into the station entrance. [grin]

Hi Thalek......That would be a great next step....I was thinking that it would be stunning to have Gary Mitchell and Dr. Dehner shown here, rising from their graves as the Starship Enterprise orbits above!
