Sad day today, the world lost a Giant of a Musician . Drummer Neil Peart of Rush Died today after a Battle with Brain Cancer . I call him a old Friend Because The Music from the band "Rush" has been a Dear companion to me for most of My 53 years . Neil was a brilliant writer as well as one of the Premier Drummers of our time . Goodbye Neil, Thanks for your dedication to your Craft and for the Music that will live on for eternity !

Neil Peart was a big influence in my writing when I was younger. His lyrics jump started my imagination down many fun paths. Also lucky to see Rush in concert several times, what a show and what a drummer, one of the best!
