I've been working like crazy to get this worked out. This was a tricky build and I had to correct a lot of mistakes I made in modeling and UVs. Last night I was up till 2:30 working on him but I feel like I've gotten to the point where I can share the progress and not cringe at what came out of my render view. I'm just working on the costume and ring which everything is being modeled from scratch.I didn't go for a classic look right now --this was more about seeing just how good I could get it. Even today I corrected some minor geometry issues. I'm doing this because I don't like the generic supersuits. I've never felt that they looked the way I wanted them to look as far as detail. I took inspiration from the Injustice version of Green Lantern, but I scaled back on the bulky look of the Injustice GL suit for something that looks like someone would actually wear. All and all I'm pleased with how it came out.
