Description

Le château du Plessis-Bourré est situé sur le territoire de la commune d’Écuillé en Maine-et-Loire, à une quinzaine de kilomètres au nord d’Angers, à mi-chemin des vallées de la Mayenne et de la Sarthe. Il figure parmi les châteaux de la Loire n’ayant que peu subi de modifications quant à son architecture extérieure depuis sa construction, il y a plus de cinq siècles. The Plessis-Bourré castle is located on the territory of the commune of Écuillé in Maine-et-Loire, about fifteen kilometres north of Angers, halfway between the Mayenne and Sarthe valleys. It is one of the castles of the Loire Valley that has undergone few changes in its external architecture since its construction more than five centuries ago.
