Tilly had always wanted a dog of her own. Her family had a mutt of some kind since she could remember and each of them had been special. Since leaving her parents home and starting on her own, she missed that feeling of companionship and unconditional love that the dogs gave her. Today she was at the shelter and slowly meandering down the rows of pens holding every type, age and size of dog. Suddenly she locked eyes with a half grown pup and it was love at first sight.
