Description

Bryce - Poser - Amorphium - Spiralizer - all my own models for her Headdress and Jewelry, except for the chain -all my own textures except her eyes, eyebrows, and hair. All 3D no post. One of the Underground Shamans On this World, there has been an epidemic of forgetfulness - lost memories - lost Truth. This Shaman is searching for - and grieving - something she can't name - that she knows she loved - once. She believes if she seeks truly - openly - without preconceptions - something will come to her - to slake this hunger for her own Self, for the Ground of her Being. Her Blue Bear soul - full of memories - reaches out to her - calls to her. She does not remember he exists, and cannot hear him. . . . did she have a different name before? Could that be possible? It hurts so much to remember. Is that why everyone has forgotten? * * * In some Worlds it is very difficult for the Shamans to break through to the Wisdoms. You might know of such a World.

I do understand that, even very wise souls (I've known some) must go through dark periods to find their wisdom. (The dark night of the soul...) Your shaman, here, has two faces, and the center one---which is more illumined---seems piercing and seeking. The outer face---the two edges---is quiet and more 'normalized', probably what she shows to the world (so it seems to me, at least). You have lots of luminous flesh and salmon tones, restful but intense. And the bear pushes out of a sea of flames...the piece speaks of coming in and out of difficult worlds. But there is peace in the background, and I'm sure deep within her. I've had the privilege of knowing a couple of Native American Shamans, years back, and they had to go into seclusion every so often to replenish themselves after healing others for long periods. They called these journeys into darkness. One of them, an Ojibway woman, would come out with a glow about her, in her eyes, her movements, etc. To them, your image and narrative would make total sense, I'm sure.
