You achieved a great sense of scale and space in this illustration. I also really love that strong blue color palette: it really gives the scene an emotional distance. The strong use of white on the main figure is very strong and blends well with the lighting, yet also contributes to making him "pop" in the corner. I do have a few concerns about the composition, though. The weapon is oddly placed; it looks like it's coming straight up from his helmet. Perhaps some change in texture or placement would help with that? The empty walkway/road/bridge is a very strong element and it ties the scene together and reinforces the sense of movement that we get with the ships (cool ships, btw; I just bought that set myself and am looking forward to using them soon) and that dark band of color really helps as a visual anchor. But, the sentry is apparently looking at the walkway and it's completely empty. That seems odd. Even adding a single person or vehicle would improve the sense of story. Finally, there's a little bit about the colors on the sentry that bother me. There are hints of color, but they are so small I can't exactly call them subtle. They just don't seem intentional. I guess I'm thinking that more color or less color would assist with tightening up the composition by either making him even lighter (drawing our eyes into the negative space) or adding more color to draw our eyes to brightness. Oh well, it's just a thought. Sorry for rambling on so long, but you definitely inspired me by drawing me into your work. Very, very impressive stuff and thanks for sharing it with us.

Curious how you get your DAZ scenes into Vue. I haven't had any luck.
