Hello! My name is Teri and I've been around for over 69 years in various forms. I am happily married (51 years!), have two daughters and four grandchildren.
I discovered Poser 2 many years ago but didn't do much with it. In 2006 I found a copy of Poser 4 and got interested again. I was working in Poser 10 before I switched to Daz Studio in late 2017. I'm gradually getting the hang of most of it.
When not playing on the computer, I help my husband with his start-up Bio Tech business, refinish furniture, knit, crochet, and read. We grab our grandchildren every chance we get and delight in their antics.
Discovering this community has been a great source of fun and support in trying times.I am amazed at the level of talent I see in both the gallery and the products that are offered. It baffles me how little points on a screen can turn into people or trees and move. I'll always be blond I guess!
Thanks for looking.

I can imagine.... I wouldn't last more than about 2.456 seconds.. I have visions of a whole classroom full of kids like I used to be.... 😁
You really nailed her feeling of exhaustion and questioning her career decision.

Such a pretty teacher! Wish they'd have been like that at my school! lol

I like the image and pose. She won't have her job long in that position. Try doing it for 40 years and you wonder why I look so haggard.

It seems from all the news reports that teaching is like being in a combat zone! Nice image!
Wolfenshire Online Now!
It's not a job I would want.

I love the image, the dforce draping is superb. I remember in another life when I walked into my first community college English Composition 101, a teacher at the tender age of 23. Most of my students were old enough to be my parents, I wanted to crawl under the desk and hide, I am sure with time, she'll do fine.

Pleasant-looking interior though perhaps the lighting and texturing seem a bit plain and could use a little more work. Rebekah looks gorgeous!

I've known lots of public school teachers who had the same feeling. It's a tough job, often thankless, and can pay so little, the teachers have to buy the students' supplies... You captured her exhaustion and sense of wanting to crawl under the desk with real panache. And you handled her clothes beautifully, conforming to a very difficult posture (or so I'd think, since drawing clothes in this posture takes real concentration). And the perfect gaze. Lots of light once more, even in that wood---it seems to have light within. And the apple is perfectly placed, composition-wise...Hopefully her job will take on the light around her...or maybe she'll feel that light when she leaves it for good...beautifully done, right down to the clean white floor. (Our classrooms were never that clean! After the first day...fuggeddabbouddit...)
